Abraham Donkor is the lead pastor of the Faith Revival Ministry, where he serves with the heart of prayer, teaching, discipleship, youth, and mission. He is known for his calm nature, clarity in teaching of the scriptures, at times prophetic ministration, word of wisdom, and knowledge as the Holy Spirit permits it. He is passionate about the vulnerable in society, the widows and drug addicts.
Abraham holds a degree in economics and sociology from the University of Cape Coast in Ghana. Before God gave him the charge to establish this ministry, he was an airline security supervisor/shift leader with British Airways, Virgin Atlantic, Iberia, and Emirates Airlines. He relocated to the Netherlands, where he first established a cleaning company. During this time, he pursued his master’s degree at Tyndale Theological Seminary, where he attained a Master of Divinity. Outside the pulpit, Abraham is a husband and father of three wonderful children, two boys and one girl. His hobbies are cooking and playing football.

Expectation
When you come to worship at FRM (Faith Revival Ministry), expect to be engaged with the unadulterated Word of God. Our focus is on the growth and maturity of the individual Christian within our ministry. We focus on the expositional teaching and preaching of the Word of God. We take all our members through a discipleship class to help them understand the growth of the individual. Through discipleship, the individual is equipped as an instrument for the use of the Lord. Expect to also be engaged in prayers. Lastly, we assign all our members to small groups where the leaders have to be trained to identify the special attention and needs and, most importantly, gifts and abilities that the Holy Spirit has blessed the person with.
Youth Ministry
Youth ministry is at the heart of our church. One of the pillars of our church is to raise the foundation of many generations, Isaiah 58:12. We are commissioned to prepare the hearts of the youth to take up these responsibilities in the body of the Lord. The senior pastor is very much involved with the youth ministry. Although there are youth leaders, the pastor spends time with the youth once every month to teach them.
Kids Ministry
Are you a parent with children, and are you worried about the care of your child when you go to church? FRM is blessed with dedicated ladies who are well-trained to cater to your child. We have taken up the scripture charge “Train up the child the way they should go” seriously. These caretakers are not marking time for parents to return for their children, but they simplified the process for teaching them, even at a tender age.
Our History
FRM was established in 2025 after the Lord called out his servant with the vision of focusing on the nation of the Netherlands and Europe at large and Southern Africa. The ministry was started with about ten dedicated women who, through the obedience of the Lord, were able to work alongside the pastor tirelessly to see the church established. It started in the homes of one of these sisters in Amsterdam, and there we were for four months until God blessed us with a wonderful place in Almere, the Netherlands.
Social work
In addition to the great commission (Matthew 20:19-20), FRM is also involved in social work in Almere. One key aspect of it is that we have noticed a lot of drug-addicted individuals who usually roam around the stad centrum once every three months, we invite as many of them for games, feed them, and at the end share the gospel with them. We are also involved in some agencies in the Bijlmer Amsterdam southeast that are involved in serving the immigrant community. Some, due to their document status, are afraid to seek health care even when they are sick. So we offer them advice and also explain to them that there are agencies that are involved in these services.
